PROVIDING QUALITY CARE IN OUR 'HOME FROM HOME' ENVIRONMENT
Our staff hold qualifications ranging from Level 2 and Level 3 Childcare qualifications, to an ‘Early years professional status’ degree held by our Preschool Co–Ordinator. 
We have staff on ‘bank hours’ contracts and ‘lunch cover’ roles, specifically to make sure we are always in correct ratio.
Our managers are trained in ‘safer recruitment’ and this, alongside an in-depth induction process for every new member of staff, ensures the suitability of all our staff on site. 
We employ 32 members of staff both full time and part time. 
Brambley Tots believes that continuous professional development and learning for all staff is key in making sure we are providing the high quality care our children and families deserve. We ensure that all members of staff are Paediatric first aid trained to level three, and hold essential safeguarding training.

Sophie Slater

Nursery Manager

Sophie has worked at Brambley Tots for 12 years and during this time has progressed her educational development and achieved her Early Years Professional Status. Sophie oversees the running of the Preschool room and implements school readiness in all areas of development.
Sophie will work closely with you, your child and their new school when the time comes for their new journey into school life, ensuring a smooth transition.

Hello my names Clare and I am the lead practitioner in the preschool room.


I’ve been a proud member of the Brambley Tots Family for 4 years now. Before starting my Brambley Tots adventure I was lucky enough to work as a private nanny in Cambridge for over 15 fun filled years.


I have a level 3 in Childcare and Level 3 in Team Leading and have attended many training courses including Safeguarding, Development Matters and Cultural Capital.


My favourite part of my role is seeing the children smile. It could be through providing them with fun learning experiences or just simply giving them the time to share their thoughts and feelings.


Being a full time working mum, in my spare time as a family we enjoy making trips to our local parks and going for bike rides.
