Most of our staff at Brambley Tots in Biggleswade have been employed at the nursery for many years.
We employ 23 members of staff both full time and part time. Of these 21 work with the children and the other 2 in the kitchen, 13 of the staff are qualified. We have 2 members of staff that have a BA Honours degree in Early Years. We also have 3 bank staff to cover holidays and sickness; they have the same induction and training as the other staff.
Twenty of our staff are first aid trained.
By providing the staff with ongoing training and flexible working arrangements we are able to retain our staff.
Our kitchen staff are dedicated to providing delicious and nutritional balanced meals for the children in our care. We cater for all dietary and religious requirements. We have 4 stars on the door for hygiene standards.
Brambley Tots believes that ongoing staff development and training is essential to the smooth running of the nursery. The nursery ensures that staff have up to date first aid and safeguarding children by bringing external trainers into the nursery.
Our staff are friendly, enthusiastic and committed to providing our children with a safe and homely environment in order for them to reach their full potential.
The staff have good partnership with parents as we believe this is key to any child's development. We provide home visits for children settling in (see our settling in policy) so they can meet their key worker before they start."
